Church is more than a Sunday meeting. It’s about belonging, growing in faith, and sharing life together as we seek to follow God and serve our local community.
Sundays

We meet on Sundays at 10.30am at Shap memorial Hall to hear God speak to us from His word, the Bible, as it is read and preached, and also to sing, pray and encourage one another as we remember the good news of who Jesus is and all that He has done for us.
What to expect: The service begins at 10.30am for about an hour and is informal in style. Feel free to come along before 10.30am to chat before it starts.
After the service, our time together continues over refreshments where we have the opportunity to chat and get to know each other better.
Children

Children and families are warmly welcome. We are glad to have children among us, and offer age-appropriate groups during the service to help them learn from God’s Word and grow in faith.
What to expect: There is both a creche (for children aged 0-3) and Sunday school (for children aged 4-11) during the service. The creche involves bible stories, crafts and time to play, while Sunday school is an opportunity for children to engage with the bible in an age-appropriate way.
Bible Study
Our home groups meet informally each week in different members homes to study the bible and pray together. This is an opportunity to spend time together, dig deeper into what we heard on Sunday, and to consider how it applies to our everyday lives.
For more information speak to one of the elders.
Youth
Our youth group meets once a month on Friday evenings during term time, for young people of secondary school age. It’s a relaxed opportunity to have fun, build friendships and be equipped with the truth of Jesus Christ.
